Up grading your bathrooms is one of the wisest investment decisions you could make to increase the value of your home. Home buyers these days are just as interested in luxury bathrooms with all bells and whistles and, when faced with a choice of two similar sized homes in the same area, don't mind paying extra for the one with the glamorous bathrooms. Even something as simple as a bath tub remodel can give your old bathroom a new lease of life. Always decide on a bath remodeling plan that takes into consideration your space constraints, as well as your budget. Your bathroom should be in sync with the rest of the house, when it comes to theme and décor.
A brisk invigorating shower is the only way to start the day. Installing the right kind of shower for your size of bathroom can mean greater functionality and convenience. If you are restricted by the size of your bathroom, you may find that a detachable shower or a tub-shower combo if you have the space for a tub, is the right choice for you. Showers themselves are not restricted to a single size or angle, or even a single unit at all. Newer dual shower head systems allow you to direct your shower at any part of the body through the presence of two separate shower heads that are connected to a single water line. So, if your back is killing you after a long day at work, angle the shower head directly to your back, and relax!
Of all the fixtures that you could include in your bathroom remodel, a bath tub is the one that will add the highest value to your home. The basic wall to wall model in white or cream is still the popular choice of American home owners. If you are looking at a cast iron alcove tub, your bathroom model will include reinforcing the floor to support the weight of the tub. If you have a smaller bathroom, a corner tub that can be triangular or in other shapes, fitted into a corner can give you the luxury of a tub, while still leaving you with plenty of space. Free standing tubs can be placed anywhere in the room, and they look especially grand while installed in the middle of a bathroom. The claw footed antique style is still a must in classic bathrooms, while sleek granite and marble stand alone tube are perfect for sophisticated baths. If you desire a cast iron claw footed tub, your bath tub remodeling will have to include floor buttressing.
Hello. I am trying to find out how much it would cost to convert my 3rd bedroom into a single car (attached) garage. It was once a garage but was converted into a third bedroom so it is built to be a garage in the first place. I think all it would be is ripping down the front and putting in the track and door. Please email me with cost and time estimates.

I have a bathtub/shower combo with some cabinets directly abover it making for a very enclosed space that I would like to completely redo. I envision having the cabintes above the shower/tub gutted and then a new shower/tub with nice large tile and new faucet/shower fixtures and a couple of recessed lights placed in above the bathing space. Thank you kindly for your time. I am open to any ideas.
