Millions of people choose to give their homes makeovers each year, spurred on by the dramatic transformations they see on TV home remodeling shows. The results of a home makeover on TV look so professional precisely because of that -- they are undertaken by a professional home improvement contractor. In the real world however, home owners still find themselves being duped by barely qualified, handymen who suddenly decide to begin offering friends and neighbors their "expert home remodeling services". If you're unaware that a person without a valid residential general contractor's license is not allowed to tinker with your home, it's easy to get taken in by grand claims and tall promises.
Our licensed contractor search system has been specifically designed to make your job of finding a general contractor easy and convenient. We've taken care of sourcing the best names in the business, before adding them to our general contractor network. Simply, give us your project details in the form on this page, and up to 4 of the most respected home improvement contractors in Columbus will contact you with free estimates for your project. Now, you don't have to go looking for residential contractors - they come right to you! Compare price quotes, ask questions, determine skill and experience levels, and only then make a final selection. This service is absolutely free to you!
I am interested in adding on to my home while in the middle of our rebuilding. My current home is 1632 sf. What I would like to do is add on to my kitchen and master bed room, both are in the back of the the home but on both levels (the home is a two story). Approx add on is 342 sf or a 9w x 23l. Can you please give me an estimated cost for labor, materials and if this includes plumbing and electrical. Thanking you in advance for your cooperation.

I have a bathtub/shower combo with some cabinets directly abover it making for a very enclosed space that I would like to completely redo. I envision having the cabintes above the shower/tub gutted and then a new shower/tub with nice large tile and new faucet/shower fixtures and a couple of recessed lights placed in above the bathing space. Thank you kindly for your time. I am open to any ideas.
